A Valuable Scheme

Since its inception The Vedanta Kesari has been rendering invaluable service towards the development of human excellence by disseminating the spirituality and culture of India as exemplified in the lives of Sri Ramakrishna, the Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda. In order to join hands with us to spread the message of Sri Ramakrishna, to inculcate values in the youth, and to meet the growing expenditure on materials, postage and other charges, we invite you to sponsor (or create an Endowment in memory of your near and dear ones on) the following scheme-to reach many reading public through one subscription only.

You may, if you feel it worthwhile, donate an amount of Rs. 1000 or US $ 25 under the VK Library Scheme, for awarding a gift Life subscription of 20 years to one library/Higher Secondary School/college (may be chosen by the donor at the time of making the donation or by The Vedanta Kesari). You may opt to sponsor two institutions for 10 years each.

The scheme is valid in India. The name of the sponsor/endowment with the name of the awardee will be announced in the magazine in due time. Please fill in the following form and send it to the Manager, The Vedanta Kesari Office, with a D/D drawn in favour of 'Sri Ramakrishna Math'. All donations to Sri Ramakrishna Math are exempt u/s 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961. [The 'Valuable Youth Scheme' has since been withdrawn.]
